Betsy Van Ost Director, DVD Sales & Marketing

Betsy Van Ost was born in Massachusetts and spent her childhood in Ohio, North Carolina, Connecticut, Illinois, Florida, Kentucky, and Mexico. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a BS in Art Education. Married to John Van Ost for 26 years, she is the mother of two children, Mathew and Maggie. Betsy has worked for Janson Media since 1994 and has overseen the growth of the company's video and DVD publishing business, which began ten years ago with the release of one title and is now a significant special interest video label with over 120 titles, and a customer base of hundreds of schools, libraries, wholesalers, mail-order catalogs, and both brick and mortar and internet retailers. When she is not overseeing the release schedule of new titles, keeping customers happy, or opening new accounts, Betsy can be found speed-walking three miles a day around town with friends.
