My husband who just died recently was on the USS Franklin from the time it was commissioned, through the two bombings and until it returned to the Brooklyn Navy Yard.

My Father was on this ship when she was bombed March 19, 1945. He and Ray Bailey were good friends and stayed in touch with each other through out the years until my Dads passing in February 2004. I then me met Ray Bailey and what an honor to do so. Thank you for publishing this DVD. I can’t wait to receive mine.
