Content Management

Our Content Management Agreement is a short-term agreement in which the content supplier pays us a fee to manage their content. Our CM Fees are $6,000 for six-month term or $10,000 for a one-year term vs. a 20% incentive commission of gross revenues generated by us.

A Content Management Agreement works well  for producers and content creators who are uncomfortable signing an exclusive long-term agreement, or who wish to maintain more direct control over the process for themselves. Producers can “test the waters” of the worldwide content markets with this option, and can part company with us after as little as six months if they so desire.

We work on a Content Management Agreement when pitching reality show formats, whether they are “paper formats” or formats with a proven history of success in one or more territories.

We also work on a Content Management Agreement when the content supplier has not yet invested in the videotape masters and other deliverables we require in a Distribution Agreement. The deliverables for a Distribution Agreement are substantial; the deliverables for a Content Management Agreement are nominal. Please read our comparison of the deliverables between the two types of agreements.

We are producing a program for [Discovery Channel/National Geographic/A&E] and they have left us with some international rights to exploit, and a budget shortfall. Are you willing to acquire just specific territories or rights? — Janson Media

Looking For Distribution:

We have produced a documentary titled “Walk With The Master- the story of the sites of The Buddha”

It is a detailed movie hi-lighting the most holy sites in the life of The Buddha.

The program will be of great interest to people of the Buddhist faith, tourists, historian and university libraries.

We wish to publish the program on DVD and Blu-ray disks. Please let us know if you can accept copies for distribution in your network. Please also let us know the type of contract that will be suitable for us.

You can view a short sample of the program on our site.
