As a production company, Janson Media is focused on the creation of original documentary programming for television networks and channels worldwide. Led by veteran television producer Stephen Janson, the company works with a select group of co-production partners to develop and produce programs that inform, enlighten, and entertain – programs about people and places – programs that tell great stories.

Ticks: The Real Vampires

One hour. Next to the Malaria-carrying mosquito, the tick is the most dangerous animal carrier of diseases worldwide. But unlike the mosquito, the dangers carried by ticks are extremely complex. Doctors have only recently discovered the extent of the real threat posed by these tiny vampires.

Thirteen half-hours. Travel series visits monasteries, abbeys, and other "quiet places" across North America where one can rest body, mind, and spirit.
