It’s more than just technique. Viewers will learn how to incorporate their own personal style that’s what Beads, Baubles and Jewels is all about: education, inspiration and personal expression!

    Episode 301 – Wire Works Our first guest is Mary Hettmansperger – she’s an expert on wire works with a “fishy” bracelet. Katie Hacker has the first of our bead lessons – today is colored wire and loops. Louise McClure introduces us to mixed media in a project with tons of texture. Then we have a new feature – each week Tammy Honaman will share some fascinating information on a semi precious stone. This week is quartz. Then Katie Hacker is back with a bracelet featuring swarovski crystals. And last up Mark Larue, our guest artist shares some of his wire and metal techniques.

    Episode 302 - Polymer Clay Our first guest Judy Belcher – will change your way of thinking with an unbelievable clay purse pendant. Katie Hacker’s beading lesson takes us back to wire and incorporating colored wire in your design. Linda Augsburg creates a coiled cuff with a really new technique using a clay spacer bead. Tammy’s feature semi precious stone is agate. Then its polymer bracelets with Iliana McGrath. Last up Lyn Krucke our feature clay artist adds an interesting element to clay with wire mesh.

    Episode 303 – Beads and more beads Mindy Brooks is our first guest, an expert beader with a feature stitch. Choosing the right needle and thread size for beading is Katie’s lesson. Marlynn McNutt introduces us to bead tips and French wire techniques for finishing. Next our feature stone from Tammy Honaman is jasper. Last up Iliana McGrath is back with beaded earrings.

    Episode 304 – Knot your way to beautiful jewelry! We start out with Linda Augsburg and macrame cord with beautiful shades of blue. Katie’s lesson is some very unusual ways to use memory wire. Judy Belcher is back with a hot trend – jean jewelry charms. Chrysoprase is our semi precious feature from Tammy. Then Iliana McGrath uses cording to create bracelets. And last up our special guest is Mary Libby Neiman – we stretch the definition of cord to include yarn; with knit and crochet projects that are unbelievable.

    Episode 305 – Metal work Mary Hettmansperger is back to the show with pounding and soldering techniques. Katie introduces us to the newest type of wire – silver plate – you can even braid it. Tammy Honaman demonstrates an art clay bracelet – a different look at metal. Then Tammy is right back with lapis our featured semi precious stone . Iliana McGrath features colored craft wire with glass beads. And last up Mark Larue returns with more metal techniques.

    Episode 306 – Embroidery techniques Mindy brooks our first guest, has been searching for the perfect antique buttons for her bracelet design. Katie’s Bead lesson is an introduction to the basic embroidery stitches. Stephanie Girdlestone features bales and donuts in her designs. Tammy’s feature semi precious stone is Blue Sapphire. Then Katie returns with a Swarovski crystal necklace. And last up Miriam Neuringer uses embroidery on a fabric cabochon.

    Episode 307 – Felt Fiber and Fabric Our first artist Candy Cooper shows us how to make felt beads- but her other specialty is metal. Today’s beading lesson with Katie is all about specialty findings. Get out that sewing basket again with Marlynn McNutt – wait until you see what you can make with buttons. Then Tammy features Peridot a very hot fashion color today. Mindy Brooks has a fiber wrapping technique for a great dangle necklace. And last up Krystal Wick shows us her quick fiber necklace.

    Episode 308 - A Touch of Glass First Mindy Brooks adds lampwork beads to create a special charm bracelet. Katie’s bead lesson is about adhesives – the right adhesive for every material including glass. Arbel Shemesh has another great bracelet design with a cha cha bracelet. Turquoise is the feature stone from Tammy Honaman Iliana McGrath demonstrates a necklace featuring an Art glass pendant. And last up Marinda Stewart has a trendy accessory – the poncho pin.

    Episode 309 – Back to basics – stringing Arbel Shemesh adds watch faces to her stringing. Next Katie Hacker’s bead lesson shows how to finish off your stringing. Linda Augsburg has a really unusual stringing technique using crystals. Malachite is the feature semi precious stone from Tammy. And Iliana McGrath’s stringing project features magnetic beads. Last up, if you love making jewelry – you’ll love the ergonomic tips from Colleen McDonough.

    Episode 310 – Mix it up Linda Augsburg is first with a great way to use up leftover beads – she makes earrings featuring the brick stitch. Katie takes us back to basics – what diameter and ply wire do you use with which bead – if you want your jewelry to last it’s important to choose the right wire. Tammy Honaman has a trendy bracelet design to share called the fringe. And then Tammy returns with a look at tourmaline. Last up Katie is back with a shimmering watch featuring crystal.

    Episode 311 – The word is “fabulous” First up Judy Belcher is back. She’ll show us how to make a polymer cabochon. How do you string some of those unusual beads – Katie’s beading lesson is all about bails. Mindy Brooks uses art glass focal beads for her necklace with an unusual setting made from chain. Tammy’s semi precious stone feature is obsidian. Iliana McGrath coordinates art glass beads with coordinating clasps And last up Marinda uses fabulous beads to make a fabulous watch.

    Episode 312 – Semi precious stones First Linda Augsburg combines four different stones and shapes – in one necklace – they all work together! You’ll want to know how to use a bead reamer and knotter especially for working with pearls or semi precious stones. – and that’s Katie’s Beading lesson. Stephanie Girdlestone features marcasite – for a shimmery sparkle. The feature semi precious stone from Tammy is howlite. Iliana chose a mix of pearls and stone for her project. And last up – we visit with Mary Hettmansperger – you saw her design on an earlier show – now we get to spend a little time talking with her.

    Episode 313 – Earrings Arbel Shemesh takes chandelier earrings beyond your ears – she uses the same findings for both earrings and necklaces. In Katie’s Beading lesson, we’ll learn how to use chain for connecting dangles, tassels and all types of chandelier earrings. Than Katie comes right back with elegant Swarovski crystal earrings. The last feature stone from Tammy is the opal. Then Linda Augsburg creates an unconventional gypsy earring. Last up we invited Candy Cooper back – to show off her specialty – metal work – not just for earrings.
