Scheewe Art Workshop

In her friendly and inspiring manner, host Susan Scheewe introduces the beautiful art of watercolor and acrylic painting. Her easy-to-follow style encourages creativity for artists at all levels. Using a variety of techniques and mediums, Sue demonstrates a wide range of scenes from sparkling waterfalls and mountain landscapes, to wildlife and flower gardens.

Sue Scheewe loves to paint. With a fine arts background, Sue started teaching over 30 years ago as a way of encouraging others to enjoy the same love of paintings that she had found. Her love of painting continues today as she hosts Scheewe Art Workshop, a favorite among public television "How-To" enthusiasts.

Sue has traveled and taught extensively in the United States and abroad, but her talents are not limited to painting and teaching. In addition to her television painting talents, she is also a successful writer, publisher, and businesswoman. She also has her own line of watercolor and acrylic paints and supplies available nationwide. Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest for most of her life has given her many great memories and many subjects to paint. Sue currently lives in Portland with her husband Stan. She works closely with both of her daughters, Camille and Kim, and even gets help from her Mom and step-dad, Birdie and Joe.
