Janson Heads to Miami for Kidscreen Summit

Janson Media will attend the Kidscreen Summit in Miami next month. Acquisitions and development executives in attendance for the company include Stephen Janson, Jesse Janson and Natasha Kline. The conference will take place February 12th to 15th at the InterContinental Miami, a four-star hotel located on the city's downtown waterfront.

Janson Media's proprietary kids brand GIGGLEMUG, makes its debut at the conference. GIGGLEMUG soft-launched in 2017 as a YouTube channel dedicated to a safe, wholesome and educational OTT channel for children's animation content. The company will be acquiring content for the brand as it looks to expand its offerings on both YouTube and other platforms and apps in 2018.

The company will also be premiering and seeking partners to syndicate JUNIOR, its new 24/7 linear online channel for children's video gaming content. The channel will be making its debut as part of the Twitch.tv "Always On" directory in Q2 of this year.

Janson Media executives will also be buying children's content for their established VOD pipelines with Amazon, HULU and Netflix in multiple territories around the world.

Currently, Janson Media has distribution partnerships with such major kids content distributors as Studio 100, Toonz Media Group, Imira Entertainment, Mondo TV, CJ E&M, Super Simple Songs, Synergy Media, HooplaKidz and more.

The Kidscreen Summit is renowned as the kids entertainment industry’s most important annual event. In 2017, the conference welcomed nearly 2,000 attendees from more than 50 countries. Top executives attend Kidscreen Summit to take advantage of the year’s best business networking, and to engage in critical dialogue on issues that affect the industry. Over 50 countries are represented at the event, including over 900 producers and distributors and some 400 acquisition executives for kids content.
