Culinary Adventure From Sea to Table, Filmed in Spectacular 4K

Janson Media today announced the release of three classic Australian television miniseries to U.S. VOD markets, led by The Shiralee, the 1987 Australian award-winner directed by George Ogilvie. In Australian slang, "shiralee" means "burden." It also describes how itinerant laborer "Mac" Macauley, played by Bryan Brown (Gorillas in the Mist, Cocktail) thinks of his nine-year-old daughter, Buster played by Rebecca Smart (Blackrock). Proud and stubborn, Mac ekes out a living -- sometimes with his fists -- on the dusty roads of the 1940s and '50s outback, with Buster in tow. Together they befriend a number of colorful characters, including Lily (Noni Hazlehurst), a lovely rancher as maddeningly willful as Mac. At times grudgingly, Mac and Buster forge a father-daughter bond that hunger and hardship cannot break. The feature-length film was edited from the popular 3-hour television miniseries and is now available on Amazon Prime as a 104-minute feature

Sarah Dane (8 x 50') is the lavish, passionate story of a beautiful convict girl, Sara Dane who is transported from England to Australia for a crime she did not commit. Sara must fight for her freedom against almost impossible odds. The series stars Juliet Jordan, Harold Hopkins, and Barry Quin.

In Under Capricorn (2 x 98'), young Irishman Charles Adare (Peter Cousens) arrives in New South Wales, Australia in 1831, eager to make his fortune and make it fast. But what he finds are secrets that won't stay buried.
