Emmy and James Beard Nominated TV Series "Pati’s Mexican Table" Premieres on Amazon

Janson Media and Pati’s Mexican Table, LLC today announced an agreement to bring Pati's Mexican Table, the hit PBS cooking and travel series from acclaimed chef and author Pati Jinich, to Amazon Video's Prime Video platform in the United States. The series, hosted by renowned chef and author Pati Jinich, originally aired on public television stations all across the country.

Each season follows Mexico City native Jinich as she tastes her way through a region of Mexico to gather inspiration for the accessible Mexican recipes she creates in her home kitchen in Washington, D.C. Part travelogue, part cooking in her home kitchen, the new season takes her to Oaxaca, one of the states that has contributed the most to Mexico’s gastronomy, art and culture.

Throughout her travels, Jinich gathers recipes and inspiration to bring back for her husband and three boys to enjoy. Once stateside in her Washington D.C. home, Jinich expertly instructs her audience in an easy to understand, step-by- step manner so that they too can prepare delicious traditional Mexica cuisine at home. Seasons 3, 4 and 5 of Pati's Mexican Table are now available on Amazon's SVOD platform in the United States.

"Pati Jinich is an incredible talent," said Stephen Janson of Janson Media. "Her PBS series is already a huge hit with a loyal following, and we at Janson Media are honored she has chosen us to help introduce it to a completely new audience on Amazon Prime."

“We receive countless requests from fans to put the shows online, so I couldn’t be happier to have the series available on Amazon," said Ms. Jinich. "It is a terrific opportunity to bring the rich, nuanced, colorful world of Mexican cuisine and the fascinating people and stories behind it to a wider audience.
