Janson to Bring CoinDesk Content to Amazon Prime
Janson Media today announced a distribution deal to bring CoinDesk's news and information video content to Amazon Prime Video worldwide. CoinDesk is a leading news site specializing in bitcoin and digital currencies, founded by serial entrepreneur Shakil Khan and was subsequently acquired by Digital Currency Group. CoinDesk also provides informative guides to bitcoin, blockchain and ethereum for consumers seeking more education about digital currencies.
The deal calls for Janson to launch CoinDesk's original content on Amazon Prime Video worldwide, commencing with its series Rizqi Presents: Blockchain. International hip hop dance artist and data visualizer Rizqi Rachmat dives deep into the world of blockchain technology to see how it is revolutionizing finance, cybersecurity, democracy, and more.
The first 8-episode season of the made-for-web series was produced by Calvin Tran and Peter Ryan. Episodes explore how blockchain is changing disparate fields ranging from the legal system to the creation of an entirely new structure for the internet.
